Toddler Programs Toddler programs at the Central Park Zoo are designed to introduce our youngest animal lovers and their caregivers to the natural world. Classes include touching zoo animals, movement activities, storytelling, and making a craft to commemorate the experience.
Adult Programs Explore issues of wildlife conservation with Central Park Zoo staff, experience the zoo in a unique way, and see our exhibits and animals through an expert’s eye. At these programs, you’ll also have an opportunity to meet and mingle with other wildlife devotees.
School Programs Learning is an adventure when you select one of the Central Park Zoo’s education programs. Bring your class to us, or we’ll come to you. We offer a wide range of programs to enhance science curricula and educate and inspire diverse communities so they come to appreciate the wonders of wildlife and wild places.
Wildlife Theater The Central Park Zoo’s Wildlife Theater Players perform interactive shows using drama, puppetry, games, and songs. Performances inspire audiences to learn more about their natural world and become part of its protection. The troupe works with schools, community centers, hospitals, camps, and at private events.
Tours Explore the Central Park Zoo with our knowledgeable and trained guides. Since 1988, the Central Park Zoo Guides have provided guided tours to groups of schoolchildren, scouts, summer campers, families, and adults who are interested in learning more about our animals and exhibits.
